Giovanna Aryafara began her great passion for photography 40 years ago in Sydney, Australia, and continued in New Zealand as a school photographer for several years. Over the years, she has exhibited her works in Australia, Bali, Brazil and Thailand. She also exhibited at the Africa Photo Festival 2018 in New York and at the Atlas de l'Humanité in Paris and Italy in 2019. In 2020, Giovanna won the Africa in Focus 2020 photo competition for the category "People / Cultures & Communities of Africa”.

Giovanna travels to India and Ethiopia every year, both for work and for photography. Her love for photography, art, fabrics and tribal crafts can be found in her popular homeware and lifestyle stores called “Bungalow Living Bali”. She also has a photography gallery and a cafe in Bali. His work is displayed in his two retail stores and his gallery.

As a photographer, Giovanna Aryafara travels the world in search of subjects that stir our emotions, invoke a sense of shared spirituality, and reveal our world through a design-inspired minimalist lens. His works provide access to the beauty of our Earth, inspired by his love of sharing the diversity of human experience. Giovanna is dedicated to promoting awareness of these stories and supporting human rights organizations around the world, such as Survival International, who are helping to create a fairer environment for all. Giovanna lives in Bali with her husband, 3 Labradoodles and a Ginger Cat.
