Giovanna Aryafara began her passion for photography 40 years ago in Sydney, Australia, and continued in New Zealand as a school photographer for several years. Over the years, she has exhibited her works in Australia, Bali, Brazil and Thailand. She also exhibited at the Africa Photo Festival 2018 in New York and at the Atlas of Humanity in Paris and Italy in 2019. In 2020, Giovanna won the Africa in Focus 2020 photo competition for the “People / Cultures & Communities” category. of Africa”.

Giovanna travels to India and Ethiopia every year, both for work and for photography. Her love for photography, art, fabrics and tribal crafts can be seen in her popular homeware and lifestyle stores called “Bungalow Living Bali”. She also has a photography gallery and café in Bali. His work is on display in his two retail stores and gallery.

As a photographer, Giovanna Aryafara travels the world in search of subjects that awaken our emotions, invoke a sense of shared spirituality, and reveal our world through a minimalist, design-inspired lens. His works offer access to the beauty of our Earth, inspired by his love of sharing the diversity of the human experience. Giovanna is dedicated to promoting awareness of these stories and supports human rights organizations around the world, such as Survival International, who are helping to create a fairer environment for all. Giovanna lives in Bali with her husband, 3 Labradoodles and a Ginger Cat.
